Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to support the Defense Information Systems Agency's Citadel mission at Fort Meade, MD. This role involves designing and maintaining secure cloud platforms while ensuring operational efficiency across critical systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or systems automation.
• Experience supporting DoD or federal government environments.
• Active Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Support DevSecOps initiatives integrating security controls into deployment pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
