Job summary

Platinum Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a Fort Meade, MD assignment. The candidate must hold an active Secret clearance and have deep experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure, with DoD/Federal cybersecurity alignment.

The role requires a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and relevant cloud certifications, with strong IaC, automation, and collaboration skills to support modernization, migrations, and secure operations across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher with extensive experience in cloud engineering and cybersecurity domains.
Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).
Active Secret Clearance.
Industry cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments.
Deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation and orchestration tools.
Support cloud modernization initiatives, including migration of on-premises services to cloud environments.
Troubleshoot Tier 3 cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, and application issues.
Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and architecture teams to meet enterprise standards.
