Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a PC Network Support Technician to support information system lifecycle activities at our Melbourne, FL site. The role requires on-site work and a Secret security clearance, with a priority on maintaining secure IT operations and user support.

Responsibilities include PC and network troubleshooting, ITIL/ITSM awareness, and collaboration with security, service desk, and administrators to resolve issues within SLAs. Travel and shift flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2 years of relevant experience; OR an Associates degree and 0 years of relevant experience.
• Must have a Security+ certification (or greater).
• Current US Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) required.
• Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for computers and associated networks.
• Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs PCs, software, telephones, cables, and connectors.
• Connects PCs and terminals to existing data networks; performs basic PC setups.
• Instructs and assists users in the use of PCs and networks.
• Maintains trouble logs and completes security-related paperwork.
