Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. seeks a Network Test Engineer with a DoD Secret clearance for Fort Meade, MD. This full-time role supports Gateway initiatives, requires DoD Secret clearance, and offers a base salary in the posted range with final offer based on experience.

You will design, test, implement, and maintain gateway engineering solutions, perform complex security testing, and provide Tier III support while collaborating across teams to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
Strong routing protocols and IP network design experience (IPSEC, BGP, MPLS/RSVP, OSPF/IS-IS).
Experience with Cisco voice gateways and unified communication managers.
Experience with Type 1 HAIPE encryption devices and secure tokens.
Laboratory testing using Wireshark, Kiwi-Syslog, SNMP/Traps.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Engineer, test, implement and provide Tier III support for Gateway initiatives to ensure mission success.
Design, build, test, implement and maintain Gateway engineering solutions.
Provide documentation for CCBs and configuration guides.
Deliver security-focused testing, analysis, and troubleshooting to improve performance and reliability.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and voice gateways; support DoD networks.
