Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. is seeking a Network Test Engineer to support operations at Fort Meade, MD.

This full-time CONUS role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and offers a competitive base salary with comprehensive benefits. The selected candidate will engineer, test, implement, and provide Tier III support for Gateway initiatives, design and deploy DoD network solutions, and ensure interoperability with mission partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline with ≥5 years' experience.
Strong IP network design and routing protocol experience (IPSEC, BGP, MPLS/RSVP, OSPF/IS-IS).
Experience with Cisco gateways and SIP telephony.
Familiarity with HAIPE encryption devices and secure tokens.
Proficient with Wireshark and Kiwi-Syslog for testing/troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

Engineer, test, implement, and provide Tier III support for Gateway initiatives.
Design, build, test, implement, and maintain Gateway engineering solutions.
Create engineering change requests and documentation for CCB.
Provide technical design reviews, lab testing, and deployment plans for DoD networks.
Support mission partners to meet interoperability requirements.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and SIP gateways.
Review security requirements and propose countermeasures per DoD policies.
