Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the Sentinel (GBSD) program within the SDS Division's Guidance Navigation Control group. This role focuses on integration, testing, and design of hardware and software in a high-security environment.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree, possess related experience, and are able to obtain/maintain US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test hardware, software, and firmware test stations for GN&C
• Design, model, and release test rack equipment and configurations
• Develop engineering products for production
• Use NX and Teamcenter for design tasks
• Communicate with key stakeholders across engineering disciplines
• Capture requirements and ensure design meets program objectives
