Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure stable operation of in-house software systems and networks. You will plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and links, while leading other system administrators across locations.

The role requires a technical degree, DoD 8570 Baseline certification, SECRET clearance, and 10 years of specialized information processing experience, including hands-on server administration and security hardening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification (IAT II or III) required.
• SECRET clearance required.
• 10 years specialized experience in information processing; 4+ years hands-on in installing/configuring software.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyzes and resolves end-user software and connectivity issues.
• Conducts capacity and performance analysis and recommends changes.
• Develops automation scripts and improves admin procedures; trains staff.
• Provides remote and local maintenance for systems across multiple locations.
• Implements fault-tolerant networking and load balancing considerations.
• Performs vulnerability management and security hardening.
