Job summary

GC&E Systems Group in Chicago, IL seeks a Computer User Support Specialist-SME to deliver first-level IT support to CASTLE-NET program users, responding to incidents and service requests, and ensuring adherence to USACE IT policies.

You will install and configure infrastructure, manage AD/Okta access, write PowerShell scripts, and help reduce security findings while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• SECRET Clearance with T3 Investigation required.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end infrastructure installations, from hardware deployment and cabling to post-install validation and production readiness
• Manage system lifecycle processes including initial configuration and decommissioning, ensuring compliance with security policies across 12+ servers
• Remediate critical security vulnerabilities, achieving 90% reduction in high-risk findings within 60 days
• Manage Active Directory user provisioning, group memberships, and security access controls integrated with Okta identity platform
• Implement automated PowerShell scripts integrated with the ServiceNow API, reducing manual administrative tasks.
