Job summary

Sikich is seeking an IT Director in Alexandria, VA, to lead audit teams with strong accounting skills and an active Secret clearance. You will supervise staff, design and oversee audit plans under GAS, and contribute to proposals and business development.

This role requires a leadership mindset and deep experience in federal/audit frameworks. The position is hybrid, based in the US with two on-site days weekly, and offers a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Information Systems degree preferred.
• 10+ years of auditing or related technical experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Hybrid role: 2 days on-site.
• Management/leadership experience.
• CISA preferred.
• Experience with SOC 1/2 audits preferred.
• FISCAM/FISMA familiarity acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide the first line of supervision to audit professionals.
• Review work products for quality and consistency with standards.
• Design audit plans using GAS and oversee execution.
• Self-starter delivering quality client work with minimal direction.
• Supervise and review work of staff; develop team through delegation.
• Provide subject matter expertise in financial management and controls.
• Review draft deliverables and present final results to management.
• Assist Principals and Senior Managers with proposals and business development.
• Leverage data analysis tools and AI to improve audit procedures.
• Advise Principals on major developments and client liaison.
