Job summary

Sikich is seeking a highly motivated Audit Manager to lead auditing professionals in a hybrid role based in Alexandria, VA with activity across US sites. The position requires an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain it and 4+ years of accounting/auditing experience.

You will supervise teams, review deliverables, design audit plans under Government Auditing Standards, and work closely with Principals and clients to ensure timely, high-quality results while leveraging data analysis tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting degree preferred.
• CPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line supervision to a team of auditing professionals.
• Review work products for quality and consistency with auditing standards.
• Design audit plans and oversee their execution using Government Auditing Standards.
• Evaluate results to determine impact on audit plan and conclusions.
• Develop team through delegating tasks and guidance.
• Provide technical expertise in financial management and internal control.
• Lead client meetings as primary liaison.
• Own assigned work areas and meet contractual deadlines.
• Advise Principals on significant developments.
• Leverage data analysis tools and AI to improve audit efficiency.
• Assist Principals and Senior Managers with proposals and business development.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and compliance with policies.
