Responsibilities include supervising auditors, reviewing workpapers, designing audit procedures under GAS guidance, and ensuring client-ready deliverables while growing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum 8 years of financial statement audit experience.
• Active secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line supervision to a team of auditing professionals.
• Review workpapers, findings, and reports for quality and consistency.
• Design and oversee audit plans using Government Auditing Standards.
• Evaluate results and adjust audit approach as needed.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance.
• Prepare client-ready workpapers and memos.
• Communicate findings with management and clients.
• Hold discussions on apparent deficiencies with leadership.
• Lead business development activities when applicable.
