Job summary

Sikich is seeking a highly experienced IT Director for the US - Alexandria, VA area. You will lead auditing teams, oversee engagements, and ensure compliance with government standards while interfacing with principals and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Information Systems degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of auditing experience or related technical experience.
• Minimum interim or active Secret clearance.
• Hybrid position: 2 days on-site.
• Management/Leadership experience.
• CISA preferred.
• Experience performing SOC 1 or SOC 2 audits preferred.
• Familiarity with FISCAM and/or FISMA acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide the first line of supervision to a team of audit professionals.
• Review work products prepared by team for quality and consistency with standards.
• Design audit plans using Government Auditing Standards and oversee execution.
• Deliver high-quality work with initiative and limited supervision.
• Supervise and review work performed by staff.
• Develop people through delegating tasks and guidance.
• Provide subject matter expertise in financial management areas.
• Review draft deliverables and present results to management.
• Assist Principals and Senior Managers with proposals and business development.
