Job summary

Cherokee Federal seeks an Inventory Support professional to manage GFP/GFM, repair parts, and force-protection equipment at Shaw AFB, SC, and in support of OCONUS locations. The role emphasizes inventory accountability, storage, and movement with surge support through January 2027.

The position requires an active Secret clearance and will involve domestic and international packaging, shipping, and documentation compliance. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift, move, and store equipment.
• Experience inventorying serialized equipment and parts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Active Secret Clearance required; JPAS verified.
• Pass drug screen, medical clearance, and background check.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual and directed physical inventories of GFP and accountable property at Shaw AFB, SC.
• Assist with warehouse and storage activities including labeling and COSIS.
• Receive, inspect, count, identify, label, and record equipment and parts; verify against documents.
• Process shelf-life materials and maintain SDSs; follow handling and storage rules.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipping; enter shipment data into MIS; assist with customs and hazmat docs.
• Support packaging, tracking, receiving, and delivery; assist with customs, export controls, and carrier documentation.
• Facilitate disposition to meet inventory reduction goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
