Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an Inventory Support professional to sustain force-protection equipment and manage GFP/GFM across Shaw AFB SC and support OCONUS locations. The role requires an active Secret clearance and focuses on inventory control, storage, and shipping activities with surge capacity through 2027.

Responsibilities include physical inventories, packing, labeling, and documentation; collaboration with the Property Equipment Manager and Field Service Representatives to ensure

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to safely lift, move, organize, package, store, and account for equipment and materials.
• Experience inventorying and accounting for serialized equipment, repair parts, tools, consumables, and high-value assets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and database/reporting tools.
• Active Secret Clearance is required; verifiable in JPAS.

Responsibilities

• Support annual and directed physical inventories of GFP and other accountable property.
• Assist with warehouse and storage activities including labeling and COSIS handling.
• Receive, inspect, count, identify, label, and record equipment and parts; verify against documents and NSNs.
• Process shelf-life-controlled materials and maintain SDSs; ensure proper handling and reporting.
• Support shipping, tracking, and delivery; enter shipment details and assist with customs and documentation.
