Cherokee Federal is seeking a Financial System Administrator at Shaw AFB, SC to provide on-site administration of staff workstations and financial applications, ensuring reliable operation of critical systems.

This role requires US citizenship and an active SECRET clearance, and offers full-time benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)) with a starting salary of $58,000–$62,000 per year. You will collaborate with ACC FSAs and DoD partners to sustain financial-management operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) technology or related fields.
• IA Technician (IAT) Level I Security+ CE certification required.
• Experience with ABSS, DEAMS, DTS, IAPS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Windows, and MS Teams.
• Familiarity with AF/DoD financial systems and IT equipment accountability programs.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain staff workstations across locations, ensuring governance compliance.
• Apply patch updates and configuration changes to maintain workstation security and functionality.
• Participate in annual training and serve as the IAO for Comptroller Units.
• Identify and report network issues to the network help desk.
• Provide hardware and software acquisition recommendations based on IT needs.
• Maintain inventory of printer consumables and ensure devices are operational.
• Advise management on Air Force procurement channels.
