Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Financial System Administrator to deliver on-site support for government financial systems at Shaw AFB, SC. This role requires a US Citizen and active Secret clearance, and will work closely with the Comptroller Squadron to sustain financial-management operations.

You will administer workstations, financial applications (ABSS, DEAMS, DTS, IAPS), SharePoint content, and IT assets, while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure continuity and compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 1–3 years of IA technology experience.
• IA Technician (IAT) Level I Security+ CE certification required.
• Experience with ABSS, DEAMS, DTS, IAPS.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain staff workstations across locations.
• Apply patch updates and configuration changes to maintain workstation security and functionality.
• Participate in annual training and serve as the Information Assurance Officer for the Comptroller Units.
• Identify and report network issues or outages to the network help desk for resolution.
• Provide hardware and software acquisition recommendations based on analysis of IT needs and resources.
