Job summary

TekSynap is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Oklahoma City, OK. The role focuses on asset management, daily ticket review in ServiceNow, and coordinating hardware requirements for local and regional needs.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, 24-hour RFI responses, inventory reporting, and maintaining auditable records per NARA standards. A secret clearance and one year of warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance with IT-II sensitivity is required.
• Forklift certification may be required depending on area.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel on-site.
• Minimum one year of warehouse experience.
• Experience entering asset data and extracting reports from inventory systems.
• Experience performing physical inventories.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe.
• One year of ServiceNow experience.

Responsibilities

• Review ServiceNow portal requests and tickets daily and fulfill them timely.
• Provide daily customer and team support for hardware needs.
• Respond to RFIs within 24 hours via email.
• Conduct cyclical inventories of DLA IT equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare monthly inventory reports.
• Maintain asset lifecycle procedures to meet standards.
• Handle Receiving/Shipping of DLA hardware and updates timely.
• Identify solutions to asset control process issues.
• Verify ITAMS data accuracy in ServiceNow.
• Draft correspondence and prepare site inventory reports.
• Address and reconcile inventory variances promptly.
• Maintain digital hardware documentation per NARA standards.
• Attend weekly team and bi-weekly regional meetings.
