Job summary

TekSynap is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support the Enterprise Service Desk with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

The role requires a US citizen with a secret clearance, forklift certification if needed, and at least one year of warehouse and asset data experience. You will manage ITAMS in ServiceNow and perform regular physical inventories.

Location is Fort Belvoir, VA, with a day shift in an office environment and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• US citizen with secret clearance (IT-II)
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• Experience entering asset data and extracting reports from automated inventory systems
• 1 year of performing physical inventories
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe
• ServiceNow experience; Power BI a plus

Responsibilities

• Review ServiceNow portal requests, tasks and tickets daily per DLA Asset Management policies
• Provide daily customer and team support for local/regional hardware needs
• Perform cyclical physical inventories of all DLA IT equipment
• Monitor stock levels and submit auditable monthly inventory reports
• Ensure data accuracy in ITAMS/ServiceNow and maintain auditable records
• Attend weekly team and regional meetings; maintain safe, clean work area
