Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks several Aircraft Maintenance Manager 2s for the flight test maintenance team at Edwards AFB, CA. The role oversees maintenance, servicing and overhauls of aircraft and systems and requires leading staff, coordinating cost and schedule with leadership, and securing parts as needed.

This position is 100% on-site at Edwards AFB with multiple shift options, including 4x10 or 3x10 schedules. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years of related professional/military experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience
• U.S. Citizenship and an active U.S. government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Responsibilities

• Generate aircraft to support tests in accordance with requirements from test integration
• Forecast, plan, and complete required air vehicle maintenance and modifications
• Schedule shifts, teams and work packages
• Manage and track air vehicle configuration
• Assign daily work requirements to the team
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and quality processes
• Ensure accurate, complete, and current employee training records
