Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Flight Test Air Vehicle Manager at Edwards AFB, CA. You will co-lead a team of 60 engineers and technicians, ensuring maintenance, modifications, configurations, inspections, and tests align with program goals.

Responsibilities include collaborating with government and contractor leadership, driving execution plans, and maintaining safety and risk management culture while meeting schedule constraints. Occasional extended shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.
• BS degree with 9 years of related professional/military experience or MS degree with 7 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead a team of 60 engineers, managers and technicians to support a large emerging aircraft test program.
• Collaborate with government and contractor leaders to develop detailed execution plans and drive integrated teams.
• Manage resource forecasts and achieve cost and schedule performance for the assigned aircraft.
