Job summary

Montcure LLC is seeking a Financial Management Specialist II to support PPBE processes for the PM MAGTF C2 Program Office at Quantico, VA. This role requires DoD financial management experience, strong Excel modeling skills, and the ability to produce concise briefings for program leadership.

Active SECRET clearance is required. On-site work at government facilities near Quantico, with standard hours 0900-1500 ET, is expected.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET security clearance.
• 6+ years of experience providing DoD financial management services, including budget execution and financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of the PPBE process, including POM development and budget execution.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ability to build and maintain financial models that support variance, cost-benefit, and trade-off analyses.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise PowerPoint reports and briefings for program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial-management support across the PPBE process.
• Assist with daily and weekly financial execution and prepare execution reports that analyze changes.
• Track budget execution against the Budget Plan and OSD execution benchmarks.
• Generate Funding Action Requests and process them through DAI iProcurement.
• Analyze fiscal-year closeout and startup procedures and provide recommendations.
• Perform financial, cost, and budget-formulation analyses supporting POM planning and programming decisions.
• Conduct variance, cost-benefit, funding-shortfall, and trade-off analyses and synthesize results into Excel-based financial models and PowerPoint reports.
• Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating of spend plans.
• Provide audit, ad hoc, and RFI reporting, including reconciliation of dormant and abnormal accounts.
