Job summary

RTX, located in McKinney, TX, is seeking an assembly technician for on‑site work in a classified production environment within the Antenna Integration Factory. The role involves hands‑on assembly of electronic and mechanical units, with oversight by engineering on production builds and rework tasks.

The position requires US citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance prior to start, and the role operates on 2nd shift with overtime possible. Onsite work is required at the McKinney site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance or eligibility required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components per detailed work instructions.
• Track tasks in production system and manage sub‑assemblies and consumables.
• Perform visual inspections and use magnification tools as needed.
• Assemble assemblies, route wires, mate connectors, install brackets and sub‑assemblies.
• Work at seated and standing stations; operate bonding machines as applicable.
• Progress to rework tasks with increased understanding of build processes and instructions.
• Document all work in production systems and escalate issues to supervisor/engineer.
