Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an onsite Test Engineer for first shift to support acceptance testing on production and prototype products in CMC. You will work with engineering on production and troubleshooting tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Active DoD SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship are required; the role involves problem solving, data analysis, and use of test equipment. This is a hands-on position at the McKinney site.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases.
• Experience with Excel, MATLAB, programming, drive share mapping, or basic computer programs.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
• Fault-isolate problems between the test environment and devices under test.
• Observe, analyze, and report test data.
• Set up appropriate test equipment per test specifications.
• Interpret test data to determine pass/fail and escalate when needed.
• Use hand tools, torque tools, analyzers, and power tools.
