Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Procurement Liaison to support the ABMS Digital Infrastructure Processing Node within the Defense Sector. The role coordinates hardware/software procurement with engineers and government partners, ensuring fast, secure deliverables.

The position manages the procurement tracker, oversees loaner materials, and resolves vendor issues, delivering clear status updates to IPTs and stakeholders. A Secret clearance with TS/SCI ability is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or master's with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Secret Clearance required to start with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
• Experience negotiating terms and conditions.
• Experience supporting DoD programs.
• Successful track record interfacing with internal customers, other functional support staff, and suppliers/vendors.
• Procurement and loaner/bailment tracking and reporting.
• Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple disciplines, domains, contractors, government agencies and other stakeholders.
• Must be able to work independently, proactively, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement Bills of Material with Chief Engineers and the government on hardware and software.
• Coordinate with procurement companies and vendors maintaining status on all purchases.
• Own and maintain the procurement tracker and ensure accuracy for reporting to DIPN IPTs and stakeholders.
• Own, coordinate and track bailment/loaner materials including return dates and vendor coordination.
• Support internal team, program, customer, and vendor meetings as required.
• Work with internal teams and suppliers/vendors to resolve procurement issues such as delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or invoice/payments.
