Job summary

Leidos' Undersea Systems Division in San Diego seeks a logistics professional to handle procurement, logistics, and administrative tasks, coordinating with the Project Coordinator, Deputy Project Manager, and NIWC teams.

The role requires Secret clearance, on-site work at NIWC Pacific Bayside on a 9/80 schedule, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of administrative and/or procurement experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit purchase requests for contracts.
• Maintain full accountability of procurement and material deliveries.
• Serve as a point of contact for local procurements and logistics.
• Create and maintain shipping documents and track material flows.
• Research supplier status in Ivalua and support supplier onboarding.
• Provide FAR/DFARS guidance for procurements.
• Travel between vendor and customer sites as needed.
• Operate forklift for local material handling.
