Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Specialist in Reston, VA to support our Defense Sector and manage the full procurement lifecycle for federal programs. The role involves NDA/Teaming agreements, bid evaluation, price Analysis, and negotiation of terms with subcontractors.

You will collaborate with Contracts, Program Management, Finance, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure compliant, cost-effective procurement. US citizenship and DoD clearance readiness required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years relevant experience, or Master's with 2+ years.
• Experience awarding and managing subcontracts in CPSR with FAR/DFARS knowledge.
• Strong negotiation skills to maximize return and minimize risk.
• Experience leading or supervising teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Creates moderate to complex RFP solicitations per Government and Leidos requirements.
• Negotiates NDAs and Teaming Agreements.
• Evaluates supplier proposals and performs price and cost analysis.
• Negotiates pricing and terms/conditions with subcontractors.
• Administers subcontracts and close-out activities.
• Collaborates with Contracts, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance and other stakeholders to integrate supplier strategies.
