Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is hiring a Desktop Support II in Washington, DC to provide phone and in-person support for email, directories, and Windows applications, including contract-specific software. You will serve as the Tier 2 contact for hardware/software issues and manage incident queues to restore service promptly.

The role requires five years’ experience (three specialized), an active SECRET clearance, and CompTIA Security+ certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with four years general experience, including two years specialized experience.
• No degree and eight years general experience with six years specialized experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors.
• Serves as the Tier 2 point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.
• Manages a queue of open incident and request tickets, prioritizing based on impact and urgency to fulfill or restore service within performance requirements.
