Job summary

Parsons is seeking a motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our Federal Solutions team supporting the Ground-based Midcourse Dense (GMD) program under the TN-MDSE contract. You will perform cyber engineering tasks across development, operation, and security assessment of complex systems.

You will interface with the Government IPT, coordinate with stakeholders, and help craft risk-based cybersecurity artifacts to support authorization activities in eMASS.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to work independently and lead sub-teams.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cyber engineering tasks related to development, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems.
• Support the Government Integrated Product Team by representing the Customer in TIMs and other forums.
• Identify and mitigate development-related cyber and technical risks with evidence-based rationale.
• Analyze policies against Federal laws and provide recommendations to close security gaps.
• Assist with Risk Management processes and monitoring.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to execute system requirements.
• Brief technical concerns to senior leadership.
• Develop artifacts to support authorization activities.
• Guide packages through eMASS PAC and ensure technical representation for signing sessions.
