Parsons is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer in Maryland to design and implement robust security solutions for mission-critical DoD systems at Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood. You will work with a diverse team to advance Army modernization and national defense over a multi-year program valued at hundreds of millions.

The role requires 3–10+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience, a Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in a related field, and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer, electrical, or electronics engineering, or math with CS concentration.
• 3–10+ years of professional cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.
• Implement and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity into system designs and operations.
• Support test plans and evaluate new technologies and security features.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.
