Parsons is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design and implement robust security solutions for mission-critical systems in Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland. You will work with a large team to advance Army modernization and national defense across a multi-year program valued at over $600 million.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, security controls, and cross-functional integration, with emphasis on DoD standards and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
• 3–10+ years of professional cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.
• Implement and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses with mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into designs and operations.
• Support test plans and evaluate new technologies and security features.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging threats and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.
