Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1 on a 4/10s second shift (Mon-Thurs 3:00pm-1:30am). This in-office role focuses on the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials within the Supply Chain Manufacturing and Logistics processes.

Candidates must have a High School diploma, be able to obtain a Secret clearance, forklift certification, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Prior SAP and MS Office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and walk or stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
• Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; uses hand truck or forklift.
• Pulls kits and verifies quantities and part numbers.
• Wraps and packs kits to send to offsite locations.
