Job summary

Coulter Services seeks a dedicated Learning Lab Manager to support grades 9–12 within an alternative education program in Chicago. You will oversee daily lab operations, monitor student engagement, and reinforce academic expectations in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will track progress, assign online coursework for credit recovery, maintain attendance records, and collaborate closely with families and school staff to support students and their successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting secondary students.
• Strong recordkeeping skills.
• Effective communication with families and staff.
• Ability to manage online learning systems and monitor student progress.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the learning lab and support student engagement.
• Track academic progress and reinforce behavior and learning expectations.
• Assign and monitor online coursework to support credit recovery and skill development.
• Maintain accurate attendance and credit-recovery records.
• Collaborate with families, internal staff, and school partners to support students.
• Help create and maintain a safe, supportive, inclusive learning environment.
