Job summary

Royal is seeking a General Inspector to join our Mission, CA quality team. Inspect parts against documentation, support production pace, and help cover absenteeism with a detail-oriented approach.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 3–5 years manufacturing experience), fluency in English and Spanish, and comfort with G-Suite. 2nd or 3rd shift available; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3-5 years manufacturing experience.
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed.
• Familiar with computers and G-Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
• Ability to pass Color Acuity Test.
• Available for 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Bi-lingual English & Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts per quality documentation and VRS.
• Ensure inspections meet defined time frames for production pace.
• Inspect molded parts after production runs for quality and consistency.
• Assist molding and assembly departments to cover absenteeism.
• Work in a collaborative, team environment.

Your future starts here! Royal is searching for Secondary Inspectors to work with our Quality team to deliver perfect products to our customers. Core Responsibilities:

• Inspecting parts based on Royal's quality documentation
  • Ex: Secondary Inspection Instructions and Visual Reference Sheets (VRS)
• Inspecting parts to the Standard seconds per part target (ie. inspections must be completed within a defined time frame to ensure the pace of production meets customer demand)
• Inspecting molded parts after first shot / last shot production run to ensure quality and consistency in parts produced
• Helping in molding and assembly departments/bays to cover absenteeism and break coverage
• Work in a team environment

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed
• Familiarity and experience working with computers, including G-Suite Products (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
• Ability to pass Color Acuity Test
• Ability to work 2nd Shift (4pm-12am) or 3rd (12am-8am)
• Must be bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
• Pay: $14.15/HR + $1.35 Shift Premium = $15.50
