Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Welder to join our sheet metal fabrication team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will perform MIG and TIG welding, read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure weld quality and safety standards are met.

Candidates with 1–3 years of welding experience and the ability to work independently and in a team will thrive in this role. Proficiency with measuring tools and basic fabrication knowledge are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of welding experience in manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication.
• MIG welding proficiency; TIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges.
• Basic understanding of fabrication processes and manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, spot welding, and other approved welding processes on sheet metal components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
• Fit, align, and secure parts prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, appearance, and conformance to specifications.
• Grind, sand, and finish welded assemblies as required.
• Maintain production schedules and achieve established productivity goals.
• Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities when required.
• Complete production documentation and quality records accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in lean manufacturing activities.
• Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed.
