Qualifications

• Apprenticeship program completed with journeyman card or equivalent
• High degree of precision and control in work
• Attention to detail and safe tool operation
• Ability to read and follow specifications precisely

Responsibilities

• Plan the setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools, considering materials, tolerances, tools, coolants and feeds.
• Perform hand operations to produce jigs, fixtures, tools and dies; use hand tools of the trade.
• Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies; set up, run, and test dies to product specs.
