Job summary

Vast, based in Long Beach, CA, is seeking an Avionics Manufacturing Technician to support the build of wire harnesses and electronic racks for space-grade systems on the second shift. You will collaborate with engineering to iterate components, read schematics, and document results to ensure flight hardware quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with wiring, PCBAs, and test equipment, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience manufacturing wire harnesses in aerospace or commercial settings.
• Experience using electronics test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies).

Responsibilities

• Construct wire cables, assemble test racks and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Assist avionics engineering by iterating components and cables.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ensure work meets standards and is documented.
• Support development of manufacturing processes for initial production runs.
