East Longmeadow Public Schools seeks a Second Shift Custodian at East Longmeadow High School in Massachusetts to perform routine cleaning, cleanse classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, and assist with event setup and snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and custodial duties throughout the assigned school building.
• Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash and perform other general building-cleaning duties
• Set up and clean up for school sporting events and building events as assigned
• Assist with general building and grounds maintenance and special projects as needed
• Assist with snow and ice removal around doorways, overhangs and adjacent areas
• Help maintain a clean, safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors
• Perform other related custodial duties as assigned by the Head Custodian, Principal or designee. The contract specifically provides for custodial cleaning, building and grounds maintenance, event setup/cleanup and certain snow-removal responsibilities
