Job summary

The Town of Wellesley is seeking dependable custodians for the Middle School 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm). This role includes cleaning, minor maintenance, grounds work, event setup, building security, and snow/ice response.

No prior custodial experience is required, but preferred; comprehensive training is provided. A valid MA driver’s license and a High School diploma or GED are required. Hourly pay ranges from $22.75 to $28.36.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience is not required, but preferred.
• New hires will receive comprehensive training.
• Must have a valid MA Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of buildings and minor maintenance work.
• Landscaping/grounds work and event setup.
• Building security and emergency snow/ice response.
• Weekend, emergency and stand-by duties may be required.
