Job summary

Killer Brownie is seeking a Sanitation Manager to lead the sanitation program across baking, packaging, warehousing, and support areas. This hands-on role requires strong visibility and direct engagement with the sanitation team to drive clean, compliant operations.

You'll own sanitation policies, regulatory compliance (FSMA, cGMP), audit readiness, and continuous improvement, mentoring leads and ensuring KPI-driven performance on cleanliness and allergen control on second shift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sanitation experience in food manufacturing.
• 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Working knowledge of FSMA Preventive Controls, cGMPs, HACCP/PC, allergen control and environmental monitoring.
• Experience with audits (SQF/BRC/GFSI or similar) and corrective action management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation policies, SOPs, SSOPs, MSS, and pre-op procedures.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/USDA, FSMA, GMPs, HACCP/PC, allergen control, and environmental monitoring.
• Lead audit readiness and support third-party/customer audits and CAPAs.
• Lead sanitation teams, coach leads, and conduct performance reviews.
• Own sanitation labor planning, shift coverage, MSS adherence, and budget management.
• Analyze sanitation data (ATP, micro, environmental swabs, allergen verification) and drive improvements.
