Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing Company in the United States seeks a Machine Operator I on the second shift to oversee 330 Ferry-11/12 or 220 Ferry platform machines, ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity of the molding operation.

You will set up molds, monitor cycle times, and coordinate mold changes, while maintaining accurate data in Prism and keeping the area clean and safe. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year related experience or equivalent
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Bilingual in Spanish; forklift certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures team has required safety equipment
• Monitors machine operation and reports issues promptly
• Sets up and starts up molds; ensures quality parts per standards
• Maintains accurate cycle data, weights, and times
• Coordinates mold changes to minimize downtime
• Performs minor maintenance such as replacing hoses or fittings
