Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing Company is seeking a Machine Operator I for the Second Shift. You will be responsible for running 330 Ferry 11/12 or 220 Ferry platform machines, ensuring safety, efficiency, and product quality. You will also assist in mold changes, setup, and routine maintenance while keeping accurate cycle data.

The role requires fluency in English, ability to read safety documents, and accurate data entry in Prism. Overtime may be required to meet production needs and maintain throughput.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety equipment is available for the team.
• Ensure equipment, molds, machine and hoist are working properly, and report issues.
• Enter data into Prism Information System.
• Set up and start up molds as required.
• Ensure machines produce quality parts per standards.
• Maintain a good cycle rating per company standards.
• Coordinate mold changes to minimize downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
