Job summary

The role requires supervising quality inspection personnel, collaborating with manufacturing and engineering, and maintaining compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in quality engineering/supervision in aerospace/precision machining.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership in aerospace/precision machining.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, process capability, and risk-based quality methodologies.
• Experience with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise second-shift Quality Inspectors and staff.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement culture.
• Prioritize quality issues to support production and shipping.
• Coach and develop inspection personnel.
• Ensure procedures and customer requirements are followed.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and operations to resolve quality issues.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Oversee receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Maintain AS9100/ISO9001 compliance and documentation.
• Support disposition activities for nonconforming material.
