Job summary

Laborup is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our growing Quality team in a metal manufacturing facility. This is a second-shift, early-career opportunity for someone with a foundation in quality inspection to grow their skills and career.

The Quality Inspector will perform inspections across the manufacturing process to verify stamped metal parts, welded assemblies, and finished products meet drawings, specifications, control plans, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of quality inspection/QC experience preferred.
• Prefer metal manufacturing background.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Inspect stamped metal parts, welded assemblies, and finished products for dimensional and visual conformance.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and control plans.
• Use precision measurement tools and document results.
• Identify defects and follow containment procedures.
• Maintain traceability and communicate issues clearly with teams.
