Job summary

Brooks Instrument, a division of ITW, seeks a Quality Inspector 2 for second shift at our Corona, CA site. You will verify dimensions using CMMs, micrometers, and calipers, inspect against blueprints, and document results in quality systems.

The role requires GD&T understanding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with engineers and production teams to resolve issues. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CMM equipment and interpreting measurement data.
• Familiarity with quality alert systems and containment protocols.
• Basic understanding of GD&T and inspection tools.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects materials and products for conformance to specifications.
• Verifies dimensions using micrometers, indicators, and calipers.
• Performs visual inspection per blueprints and plans.
• Documents inspection results and maintains traceability.
• Identifies nonconforming products and initiates containment.
• Operates CMM and performs calibrations on measuring instruments.
• Supports investigations and applies ISO quality standards.
• Follows SOPs and safety rules; meets attendance policy.
• Second-shift responsibilities and teamwork focus.
