Job summary

Brooks Instrument, a division of ITW, is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 for the second shift at our Corona, California manufacturing location. You will inspect machined parts, calipers and other components, using CMMs and standard inspection tools, and document results per procedures.

Responsibilities include verifying dimensions, identifying nonconformities, calibrating instruments, and supporting quality investigations with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating CMM equipment and interpreting measurement data.
• Familiarity with GD&T and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies specified dimensions of product or material using micrometers, indicators, and calipers.
• Visual inspection of product to blueprints and manufacturing plans.
• Documents inspection results per procedures and work instructions.
• Determines conformance of parts, materials, and processes to specifications.
• Identifies and controls nonconforming products and performs CMM operations.
• Performs calibration of basic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Maintains traceability in quality systems and supports investigations with engineering/production teams.
