Microspec Corporation in Peterborough, NH is seeking a Quality Control Inspector 1 for the second shift. The role focuses on inspecting extruded components used in Medical Devices, following GDP documentation and quality procedures.

You will perform final and in-process inspections, learn ANSI and sampling plans, document results, and grow toward independent QC responsibilities with training and supervision.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience preferred; prior quality experience preferred in GMP manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, inspection and documentation.
• Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation to grow and succeed within the position.
• Able to work semi-independently after initial training.
• Will receive hands-on training to support competency within the role.

Mansioni

• Perform Final Inspection for product Lot Release using defined methods and equipment.
• Document inspection results and complete all inspection paperwork as required.
• Assess conformance to defined specifications and identify non-conformances.
• Elevate quality concerns and issues as needed; complete end-of-shift reporting.
• Perform Start up and In-process inspection of high-volume extrusion lines and communicate results.
• Utilize gages and equipment (pin rings, calipers, vision systems) to inspect extruded components.
• Adhere to GDP documentation practices and maintain traceability throughout workflow.
• Maintain safe and clean work area and follow all safety procedures.
