Job summary

Judge Direct Placement in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Second Shift Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead quality technicians and ensure food safety programs. Shift: 3:00 PM – Midnight. You will supervise staff, coordinate with management, and maintain HACCP compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in food processing, supervision, and strong math and communication skills; bilingual a plus. Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision and 401k.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supervision and food processing.
• Food safety, USDA, HACCP, and SSOPs experience a plus.
• Excellent math skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Good communications skills- bilingual a plus.
• Ability to organize and lead a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous QA and food experience.
• Training experience.
• Experience in writing programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise quality technicians
• Work closely and communicate well with upper management, other departments, and employees
• Develop and implement quality and food safety programs, HACCP training, etc.
• Perform data entry and interpretation
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with customers
• Possess an understanding of machinery
• Assist QA Receiving/Shipping supervisor USDA Export Work
• Data entry and filing
• QA hold and micro management in the Canopy system
• Submit Export Paperwork
• Answer the Customer Questions
• Product and label inspection for Export
• Facility GMP Check, Warehouse Allergen storage check
• Review infinity records for customer
• Request Corrective action for GMP, Quality issue, and Monitoring Corrective action follow up
• Special projects Assigned by Supervisor
• Communicate clearly with others and work in a weekend rotation schedule if applicable.
• Hard worker, excellent attendance and not be shy or timid in communicating with others. Must be able to lift 40lbs.
• Analyze Raw Meat records and report the data
• Review any Laboratory records. (FOSS, Sensory, Customer records)
• Assist QA Receiving, Shipping team work responsibility
