Job summary

John F. Martin & Sons, LLC is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor to help oversee production activities in a refrigerated environment. The role includes supporting the day-to-day production process, assisting machine operators, and ensuring the line meets efficiency and quality goals.

You will train staff and escalate issues promptly to maintenance and leadership. The position requires the ability to stand long hours, operate labeling and packing equipment, and manage scheduling rotations while

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods (8–12 hours).
• Must be safety oriented and follow policies and procedures.
• Must be able to train employees in a fast-paced refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production activities and ensure the line runs efficiently.
• Assist team members and cover line staffing as needed.
• Identify and report machinery or process issues to maintenance and supervisors.
• Monitor quality control and productivity standards throughout the day.
• Ensure correct packing, labeling, and date/program loading.
