Job summary

John F. Martin is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our second-shift housekeeping team in Newmanstown.

You will help keep our refrigerated production facility clean, sanitary, organized, and safe while supporting other plant departments as needed. You will perform duties cleaning restrooms, floors, waste management, dusting, restocking, and assist other departments as needed, all while following safety and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• No diploma or formal secondary education required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, hallways, stairways, common areas, dry warehouses, and other plant work areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors; vacuum or shampoo rugs, carpets, and upholstery as needed.
• Empty wastebaskets; move trash, carts, cages, and other waste materials to designated disposal areas.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment; restock supplies; maintain clean storage areas.
• Assist sanitation, processing, ham stuffing, packaging, and other departments as assigned.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, chemical-handling, and PPE requirements.
