Job summary

Emerson in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Production Supervisor on the second shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00PM–1:30AM) to grow into a leadership role. You will oversee production areas, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and engage with staff to foster a high-performing culture.

Responsibilities include planning daily operations, staffing, and coaching team members while enforcing policies and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 4 years of related supervisory experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00PM-1:30AM).

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe and compliant workplace by maintaining standards and consistently enforcing company policies.
• Planning and overseeing daily operations, assigning work, rotating tasks, and monitoring progress to meet production goals.
• Driving accountability by setting clear expectations for schedule, quality, and safety, and tracking results.
• Supporting staffing needs by participating in interviews and recommending candidates for open positions.
• Communicating regularly with your team about business goals, performance, and company updates, while fostering open dialogue.
• Coaching and mentoring employees, providing challenging assignments and regular development discussions to encourage career growth.
• Managing employee relations by addressing concerns promptly, supporting conflict resolution, and promoting a positive, respectful workplace culture.
